What Happened

In just 10 minutes, if it were that many, a 100 clicks were made on the link @psdtuts reposted. And about 3 people already retweeted.

That’s not insanely much, but I didn’t get much attention before about the post (eventhough it has been my most viewed post).

After 5 hours the link already got over 300 clicks and 15 retweets in total! I didn’t dare to dream about that.
This proves that the post is actually good enough, but I just didn’t manage to get the audience viewing it.

So actually I got the traffic I aim at for a period of 30 days, just in 5 hours.

How I Tracked the Link

I knew bit.ly had great options for tracking all kinds of information, but the link wasn’t mine.
It’s really easy though!

To track any link that’s made by bit.ly, paste the URL in your adress bar and add a “+” at the end of  URL and hit enter ofcourse.
You can see the clicks of the specific link, the total clicks for the actual post, when people clicked, where they come from and so much more.

It’s Not just about Hustling

When I saw these results I didn’t think: “CHA-CHING!!!1!”
I was just happy to see people were reading my work and liked it.
This motivated me and that makes me write this post.

I know this post is much dedicated to myself, but if people didn’t share their personal experiences we would get nowhere.
